Today’s bright mini slimline birthday card comes together quickly but looks like you spent hours on it!

Nothing says it’s time to celebrate like cheerful colors and today’s bright mini slimline birthday card has them going on! How gorgeous is this card? It just says “it’s time to party!”

The best part? It’s easy to make! Let’s get the details for this card from Julie so we can imitate her clean and simple look.

Julie started by cutting a piece of white card stock with our Slimline Quilted Cover Die and then another piece of white card stock with two dies from our Mini Slimline Nested With Stitch die set to make a frame. She adhered the frame over the quilted die cut piece.

Julie now cut some scraps of white card stock with our Mixable Flower Stack die. After choosing some colors from her Copics, Julie colored up her flowers.

Julie trimmed a piece of white card stock to fit behind the quilted die cut and using those Copics she selected, colored bands across the card stock. She then adhered that behind the quilted piece, allowing the colors to peep through the piercing and the little intersectional holes.

Julie took those same Copics and colored over another scrap of white card stock, going from one color all the way through her selection to the last; she then cut that piece with the script portion of our Birthday Script with Shadow die, cutting the shadow piece from a scrap of white card stock. She adhered these together with some liquid glue.

Julie then used a handheld hole punch to punch out the centers of her spiky flowers, adhering them with liquid glue randomly over matching color holes on the card front.

To assemble her card, Julie adhered her quilted assembly to a piece of blue paper cut to offer a thin mat and then adhere the whole thing to a mini slimline card base. She added her sentiment with some very thin foam adhesive and as a final touch, added a few tiny sparkly gems to the centers of some of her flowers.
