This gorgeous, bright yellow hand stamped card has loads of sunny details and our clever stencils make it SO easy!

There is nothing like a bright yellow hand stamped card that can bring someone’s mood right up and this card is so spectacularly sunny it really makes us feel the summer vibes! Sammi created this for us today and she says “My inspiration for this card was thinking about a bright and sunny day.” Boy, she nailed it!

Let’s get Sammi’s steps for how she made this so we can try it, too.

Sammi used our Like a Wildflower collection of stamps, stencils and dies to create her glorious flowers. She followed the easy instructions included with each set using Color Fuse Inks from Sets #1 and #2 for those brilliant blossoms.

Here Sammi is applying her first layer of color:

Now more detail with the next shade:

And now the last shade to bring the two together:

Then Sammi used Sets #10 and #11 for the leaves.

When she was done adding all her color, Sammi cut out her stamped and stenciled designs with our coordinating dies. PRO TIP: Use some low tack tape to hold the dies in place so there’s no wiggling.

For her delicious eye popping card base layer, Sammi took a piece of white card stock slightly larger than her card base and using our Damask stencil, she used the same shades of Color Fuse Ink Set #1 as she did on her flowers to add the pretty design. NOTE: Sammi did not ink the center since she knew it would be covered. She then trimmed it down to fit her card base so her stenciled edges were super crisp and adhered it to her card base with her tape runner.

For her background, Sammi cut a piece of white card stock with the second largest of our Nested Inside Scallop dies and stamped her sentiment from our Daisy Day Dream set in the center in black. She added her flowers and adhered them to her stamped die cut panel.

Now she centered this panel over her card base and trimmed her flowers and stems to the edge. After trimming, Sammi adhered her floral element to her stenciled with some foam adhesive to give it some dimensional lift.

As a last step, Sammi added a touch of bling with some pretty yellow jewels and this sunny card was ready to brighten the day of one incredibly lucky person!
