Welcome to some Halloween fun with Rubbernecker Stamps and a cute and funny monster family portrait!  When I saw this adorable Monster Group stamp I thought it looked like a family portrait and what better place to take a family portrait than in front of your homestead?  The Haunted House stamp was perfect! I started by using the Clouds stencil with Black Soot Distress Ink.  I wanted the majority of my background to be Black/Gray/White.  Then I stamped the Haunted […]

Rubbernecker Blog RN-IMG_3331-w3

Hi there! Marilyn here! I hope you are well as we see the long, warm and sunny days wind down to the end of summer.  It’s already darker earlier in the evenings and later in the morning.   Did you hear Rubbernecker Stamps is now making their own line of stencils?  There are several patterns available and for my card, I chose to use 4007 Squares & Rectangles with texture paste for extra dimension.    After the paste was […]

Bold Rose Stencil

Hi my crafty friends!  Rubbernecker Stamps has some new beautiful stencils that make for a quick, easy, dimensional card.   To make my card I ran the Bold Rose Stencil through my Crossover II Die Cutting Machine.  You’ll need a rubber mat, that’ll push them paper through the stencil to give it dimension.  If you don’t have a rubber mat, this card can still be made without dimension. While the stencil is still on the paper and the rubber mat, […]

Rubbernecker Blog LRM_EXPORT_20180222_184628

Cristena got very creative with using die cuts for her project this week. We didn’t have a window shaped the way that she wanted it to, so she made her own for this last cute autumn card of the year. After that she used the Small Frame Dies Die Set (950D) to cut out the little windows in the cardstock where she wanted […]

Feathers with Marilyn Scheller

Rubbernecker Blog Marilyn-Scheller-using-Feathers

Marilyn made a beautiful card for today’s inspiration using Feathers (1132). It is a beautiful watercolor stamp. However, Marilyn has shown us that you can use it for other things as well. She embossed the feather stamp using the Mirror Gold Embossing Powder (mgoldemboss) on an acetate sheet.  She could have simply left it with just the feather but she decided to take it one step further and emboss the sentiment “Thank you” from the Best Wishes Etc (3029) stamp set. […]
