First, here are the new goodies Allie used to make these cards. From left to right we have Winter Wonderland, Wintery Friends, Snowmen With Presents and Christmas Inchies. And of course each set comes with a set of dies to make cutting those adorable designs out so much easier. We also designed the sets to be able to work together without being too matchy-matchy. We just love them and are SO happy that our design team was excited to see and use them to make projects to inspire you!

On to making these cute homemade Christmas cards!

Each card starts out with lots of little snowflakes stamped randomly all over the background panel or right on the card front. PRO TIP: Use two colors close to each other in a color family for some “motion” in the background.

Next, use a coordinating shade of ink – and here Allison used all Color Fuse Inks for superb blending – to gently shade in a die cut circle from Nested Circle Die With Stitching creating a shadowy edge and lighter edge. Add your greeting with Versamark and embossing powder for a crisp pop.

Next stamp, die cut and color an assortment of images to create little scenes on each circle. Add them with varying thicknesses of adhesive for some dimension.

To create that sweet ornament look, simply attach some gold thread in a loop behind the circle and add a bow in the same thread. Attach the whole circle to your snowflake panel with foam tape or other dimensional adhesive. (Allie made one here with no decorations to show the shadow that foam tape can add.)
