Hello everyone! We have a very cute “Happy Birthday” card from Cristena today using the new release Set Sale (3207) stamp set. She only used the submarine from the set but what she did with it is very cute. Cristena cut the submarine out with the matching die cuts (3207D) so she could make it look as if it was behind a window out in the ocean water. She used a delightful fish patterned paper to create her effect.
To make the window Cristena used the Nested Circle die cuts (5002D). Her sentiment, even though there is a birthday one in the set, came from the Happy Birthday (3031) stamp set. She said she used that one instead because it fit along the edge of the card the way she wanted it to.
If you like the way Cristena colors, she made a nice coloring video of her coloring Lift Off. You can see more over at her blog by CLICKING HERE. She also talks about how she made her card with more photos.
We hope you enjoy her project today, remember to come back every day and check out what we have that is new and inspiring from our ladies.
