Hello everyone! So many birthdays so little time. With Lisa’s very inspirational card, you will have the time. Wishes Buds (1240) is a beautiful stamp set we are sure you will love even more after seeing Lisa’s card.
Using some very bold and bright colors Lisa made a wonderful birthday card.
Lisa got extremely creative with her sentiment. Not only did she use the brand new Wishes die cut (5205-05D), she also used the “Happy” from the Happy Birthday Balloons stamp (1104-02) and matching die cut (1104-02D).
We love how she has created texture in her flower scene using the Nested Scallop Circle w/Holes die cut (5119D). Negative space is always forgotten about, but this card brings it back to the forefront of memory. The distressed background with the stamped in black Wishes buds looks beautiful. However, Lisa didn’t stop there she used the gorgeous silhouette of the Flower #4 die cut (5175-04D) and Grass #2 die cuts (5210-02D) to add depth and texture to the card.
The photo really doesn’t show you just how sparkly the background is or just exactly how magnificent this card is either. You will not want to miss seeing this card in the Scrapbook Expo this year.
