It’s Allison with you this morning; I hope everyone is having a fabulous day and getting some time to get their craft on. I found some time today to escape into my craft room and whip up this bright and cheery blooming flower card.
Colouring flowers and putting them together on a card always makes me happy! So, with that I pulled out this gorgeous daisy and in no time I was able to create this quick and easy layered floral card. Here’s the steps if you would like to create one for yourself.
Step 1 – I started by stamping the Irregular circle background strip with distress oxide ink in the colour scattered straw on a sheet of white card stock.
Step 2 – I used the large Nested scallop dies and the second largest Nested pierced rectangles die to cut a frame from the panel I stamped. I then glued down the frame to my card base and attached the center panel slightly askew with foam tape.
The sentiment You’re blooming marvelous was stamped on the center panel in Versamark ink and heat embossed in clear.
Step 3 – The Daisy bouquet #4 was coloured with copics and attached to the front of the panel with a twine bow glued in front.
Copic colors used:
- YR09,14 Y32
- YG25,23,21,00
I felt an overwhelming sense of bright and cheeriness after finishing this card. Perhaps its all that sunshine-yellow and full blooms, but I’m headed into my day feeling a bit lighter! I hope this post inspires you to create a blooming flower card of your own!
Crafty hugs,
Allie 💕
