Let’s get some Christmas in July action going!
Yes we are in a heat wave right now and YES there’s is PLENTY of time before the winter holidays!
That said, how many times do we make a list of all the FABulous projects we drool over, the list of all the gifts we are going to make and all the cards we are going to send and all the tags we are going to create to dress up our packages and all the ways we are going to decorate our homes? And then December comes and somehow we find ourselves in panic mode?
The buzz everywhere this year is that people are planning earlier than ever before for the winter holidays. Some people feel like it’s been such a trying year that they are going all out, some people are concerned that we might still be in the weeds and are getting a ton done ahead of time so they won’t be stressed and even others are actually making and sending things early in case we are all cloistered during the fall and winter months.
Whatever your reason – and maybe you haven’t even thought about Christmas and the winter holidays yet – there truly is no time too early to at least start thinking about what your holiday papercrafting goals might be.
To that end, starting Friday, we are starting a week of “Christmas in July” posts, projects, tips, videos, ideas – everything you need to get you started on the planning for and maybe creating for the winter holidays!
