When we released our brand new Christmas inchie stamps, we envisioned lots of sweet little projects like tags and A2 cards – we never imagined that they could be used so perfectly on an oversized slimline card. But check this out – they are PERFECT!

Jamie made this adorable card for us and we are just tickled at how she combined these stamps and die cuts on this project – let’s take a closer look at how she made it.

First, she stamped Rudolph, Santa and the Christmas tree on white card stock and colored them in with her Prisma pencils. When she had added all her shading details – nice work! – she die cut them using the coordinating dies. And yes, we know you love that we create as many coordinating die sets for our stamps and will do so whenever we can! Thank you for all your feedback on that – we aim to please!

Then Jamie cut another piece of white card stock with the Slimline Solid Deckle Die, die-cut white card stock. Then she placed the Geometric X slimline insert die in the center of that panel and held it in place with a little washi tape to cut a perfectly centered design.

She decorated this beautiful die cut panel with the string of lights across the top and with her greeting at the bottom.

Jamie really wanted her lights to look lit up so she colored them with Carnation and Sunflower Liquid Pearls and Bottle Green Nuvo Crystal Drops and then applied Diamond Glaze over them to really bring the shine. Don’t they look just like tiny glass bulbs?

To increase the impact of that intricate die cut, Jamie layered it over some diagonally striped patterned paper which really helped that die lattice look pop. She added the whole assembly to a coordinating dark red card base to give some lovely contrast.

All that was left was adding her sweet little Christmas inchies onto the card with foam tape and she had a simple charming fabulous Christmas card!

Here are the goodies from the store that Jamie used on this project:
