Celebrate winter with this beautiful hand stamped card with pine cones and berries!

Today’s just gorgeous hand stamped card with pine cones and berries that celebrates all things Winter is complements of Annie. Annie says “I love using my Christmas-themed stamps after the holidays are over to send friendly winter hellos or to wish someone a lovely winter birthday.” This card is so perfect for so many different occasions and we are thinking we might need to make a few to have on hand! Let’s get the details for the making.

First, Annie stamped the pine cones, pine sprigs, and berry branches from the Winter Bouquet Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Color Fuse Ink Sets #4, 10, 9, and 3.  PRO TIP: Annie says “I stuck with traditional colors for most of the images, but added Dreamer Ink to some of the pine sprigs for a little variation in color.” We love the depth this added!

She then die cut all her stamped images out using the coordinating dies.

Next, Annie die cut a piece of kraft cardstock using the largest die from the Nested Deckle Rectangle Die Set and then ran the piece through her die cutting machine again with the Quilted Stitched Pierced Cover Die to add that beautiful textural design in her background. Annie blendedd Cinnamon and Pecan Ink from Color Fuse Set #3 around the edges of the die-cut panel with a blending brush to add a little depth to this pretty piece.

Annie stamped her choice of a sentiment onto a scrap of white cardstock in Versafine Clair Pinecone Ink using the Build A Phrase Holiday Stamp Set. and trimmed it into a tidy strip with her paper snips.

To assemble her card, Annie added her die cut and inked panel to her white card base with some dimensional adhesive. She then arranged her beautiful pine cones and berries and springs onto opposite corners of her card using a mix of liquid glue and varying thicknesses of more foam tape for tons of depth and dimension. She added her sentiment with more foam tape in the center and her beautiful card was ready to send.
