Perfect for back to school or just to celebrate the season, this Happy Fall slimline card is quick to make and SO sweet.

We love slimline cards for lots of reasons and this Happy Fall slimline card serves up all that extra space for a longer message (or a check) and features two very pretty images from our new Fall Happiness stamp set. Annie – the creator of this beautiful project – says “The gorgeous images in the new Fall Happiness Stamp Set are perfect for so many different kinds of cards…from back-to-school to camping themes or even just celebrating a warm and cozy autumn, this set has something for everyone!”

Let’s get into how Annie put this together for us so we can make our own!

First, stamp your choice of images from the new Fall Happiness set onto white card stock with the correct ink for the media you intend to use to color them. Annie chose alcohol friendly ink because she used her Tombow ABT Pro Markers. Color them up and then cut them out using our coordinating die.

While you are die cutting, use our Slimline OPC Scallop die to cut a piece of tan card stock. Trim a piece of red card stock to 3 ¼ ” X 8 ¼ ” and then a piece of cream colored card stock to 3 ½ ” X 8 ½ “. Adhere the red piece over the cream panel and then adhere them to your slimline card base.

Choose a sentiment from the stamp set and stamp with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink onto a scrap of the cream card stock; trim, punch or die cut to ~ 2 ½ ” square. Choose a pattern from our new Autumn Leaves Paper Pad and make two more squares the same size.

Adhere the squares to the red card stock using the tan window die cut as a guide for placement. Then layer the tan frame over them with dimensional adhesive. Add your images with more dimensional adhesive and – Voila! – your Happy Fall slimline card is ready to delight someone special!
