Orange and purple together can create the perfect spring card!
This pretty orange and purple handmade card use springy shades of these colors to add a fresh and delightful feel! We often see these colores in jewel tones for fall and this juicy orange and lilac-y purple definitely feel different!
Jamie started by using our Plaid Texture Stencil with this bright beautiful shade of orange. Jamie says “This time I used the same color with both stencils but it’s also fun to use different colors for each stencil, like I did with this card”. We love the depth and saturation of the color Jamie got here!
Jamie cut her stenciled piece out with one of the dies in our Nested Rectangle Small Stitch set. While she had her machine out, Jamie cut a piece of white card stock the the largest die from the same set. She also used our Large Ivy die to cut some scraps of green card stock.
Jamie stamped the vase of flowers from our Birthday Vase set with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink onto watercolor paper and heat embossed it with clear powder. She colored this up with her Clean Color Real Brush Pens and cut it out with her paper snips.
Now Jamie put this beauty together. She layered her stenciled panel onto a piece of pretty purple card stock cut to offer a narrow border. That was layered over her white die cut piece and then the assembly was added to her purple card base, all with her tape runner.
