Here’s the first of our slimline fall card ideas!
This month we will be sharing some slimline fall card ideas and this one from Kittie is just so beautiful in its simplicity. And it’s SO fun to make! Kittie shared this last year on her blog and it’s such a classic look and any sentiment can be added – we just had to show it off here.
Kittie made this card with one of our slimline insert dies, a leaves set and our becoming-legendary Color Fuse Inks. Kittie shares all her details on her blog and we wanted to point out a few highlights here.
Kittie popped up her die cut window panel made with our Slimline OPC Circle Dash die AND her die cut leaves with some dimensional adhesive to let the white on white add all that delicious dimension.
Kittie used Pumpkin, Fern and Crimson Color Fuse inks and mini applicators to color the leaves and has a terrific video showing how to create this realistic look on your die cut leaves. You won’t even believe how easy it is! She then coated each leaf with Versamark and heat embossed it with clear powder to give them some standout shine and to let the colors truly pop!
She placed each leaf at a different angle within each of the three windows to look as if the wind is sending them around. Sometimes simplicity is the very thing that makes something beautiful and this card is definitely an example of that!
Here’s what Kittie used from our store to make this card so grab what you need so you can make some, too!
