First, we are so excited that you are all loving our new Pumpkin Dress Up Set #2! It’s just perfect for a quick and cute Halloween card like this one and we’ve seen the little characters popping up everywhere so we know they are a great addition to our entire Halloween collection.
Today, we get to feast our eyes on this colorful and fun Halloween card that really is “too cute”! Let’s check out the easy making of this card so we can make our own versions right away!
Julie started by cutting a piece of white card stock with our Background Cover #1 die and then cut that piece again with one of the dies from our Nested Rectangle Stitch Die set to create a piece with a lovely textured pattern and detailed edge.
She then stamped the cute little characters from our Pumpkin Dress Up #2 set and colored them in with Copics. Here are the marker colors Julie used today.
After coloring them all in, Julie cut them out with the coordinating Pumpkin Dress Up #2 die.
Now she added her trick or treaters to her card by adhering them along the bottom, using some foam tape adhesive to adhere the two fellows in the front for a touch of depth.
Julie cut a scrap strip of paper to make a banner and used some of the same Copics to color it up to coordinate with the characters. She stamped her sentiment onto another scrap strip, trimmed it to fit her banner and popped it onto the card. She added the little bat to the sentiment and this treat was ready to go!
