You can use this circle frame die cut Christmas card idea with any favorite scene setters!

This basic design for a circle frame die cut Christmas card looks absolutely adorable with these woodland creatures and we know that it would look equally as wonderful with just about any characters you’d like to use. Let’s take a look at how to put together this card so you can make it just like this or modify to your style.

To make the basic card, Julie cut a piece of white card stock with one of our Nested Rectangle Stitch dies and then used one of our Stitched Hill dies to cut it roughly in half. She sponged the upper half with Color Fuse Inks from Sets #6 and #7 and over stamped the inked area in white with our Not So Many Dots background stamp to make all that soft snow.

Julie then used our Winter Trees in Circle die to cut one piece from white and one piece from dark green card stock. She used the same dots stamp to add more white “snow” to the front of the green trees and then adhered the two die cuts together with adhesive tape, slightly off alignment, to add a layer of “snow” to the green trees. She then used two of our Circle Stitch Frames Dies to make a white card stock ring and adhered that over the two die cuts for that adorable peekaboo die cut frame. Julie butted the two pieces of the panel together and adhered her circle frame die cut assembly over the two pieces, holding them together in the center.

She then carefully placed this in her stamp positioner and stamped her greeting. She removed this background piece and adhered it to a card base.

Next she stamped her critters from our Woodlands Animals Stamp Sets #2 and #3 and cut them out with our coordinating dies. She colored them in with her Copics and added them to her card with varying thicknesses of dimensional adhesive.
