  • Cut out your tree line with Evergreen Forest Die. I used a dark green card stock.

  • Taking a 8 1/2 x 11 inch heavy card stock lay your Slimline Hills Die and cut out your snow covered hills.

  • Now cut off the over hang on the sides of the paper.

  • To get more snow banks cut the pieces in half if there is a lot of space between snow drifts.
  • You will need 3 snow drifts for this project. Save the rest for another card.

  • Layer your snowy hills on the lower half of a piece of card stock cut at 4 x 5 1/4. This will be your mat piece for your card.
  • Play with the placement to see how you like it.

  • When I get the snowy hills where I like them on my card I glue them down.
  • As you can see above I just pull up the bottom edge and glue.
  • Try not to glue the top edge down as you will want to slide your die cuts underneath. If you. do glue the top down it’s not the end of the world. Just cut your die cuts down to make them look like they a tucked underneath.

  • Go ahead and cut your trees in sections.

  • Flip you mat over and cut off the excess.
  • Use a strong pair of scissors to cut off the excess as it will be very thick. I used 65lb white card stock for my hills.

  • I used a sentiment from Laughing Snowman Set for this card.
  • Make sure you use your magnets to hold down your mat so you can center your sentiment and stamp it.
  • I use Versa Mark Black Onyx ink for all of my sentiments.

  • Now it’s time to add all of your die cuts.
  • Glue the bottom of the trees and tuck them under the snowy hills.
  • I glued the houses all the way down so that the windows don’t fall out.

  • So that the small evergreen trees look like there part of scene and not just glued down I added some shadow’s under them with C1 Copic marker.
  • Now add your mat onto a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card base.
  • To get the card base. Cut a 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of paper on the 11 inch side at 5 1/2 and that will give you 2 card bases.
  • Glue your mat onto the card base and your card is done!
  • This card is easy to replicate and can be massed produced.
