This Copic colored stamped summer flower card has all the warm feels of the season!
Today Julie is bringing us this gorgeous, sunny, bright Copic colored stamped summer flower card using our new Be Like a Flower Set. We designed this set to sit on a corner and Julie has really shown this off to perfection!]
Julie stamped her flowers with Copic-friendly ink and then colored them in with beautiful, sunny, hot oranges and yellows and then fresh greens on her leaves. She used the same greens and yellows on her butterfly. Those of you who have shopped our newest items will notice that this card is made using the same colors Julie used when illustrating the gorgeous design on the actual product package!
Here are the Copic colors Julie used:
When Julie was done coloring in her summer flowers – and remember, it’s only the colors you use and how you use these beautiful blooms that makes them seasonal – she cut them all out with our coordinating die.
Julie took two papers from our Harvest Time 6 X 6 Paper Pad – a fun diagonal stripe and pretty yellow – and cut them plus a piece of white card stock using dies from our Nested Rectangle Stitch die set. Then using our Vined Leaves Stencil, she followed the directions for her die cut machine to dry emboss the design onto the white piece. She also stamped her sentiment in the center of the yellow die cut.
Julie layered her die cut rectangles onto a white card base and arranged her gorgeous bright flowers around the lower corer of the yellow panel using her tape runner and piece of thin foam adhesive to create a little dimension.

Hi Julie, I love your “so many reasons to be happy” card, are there any dimensions for it please? Cheers and Thankyou, Marilyn.
Julie used our Nested Rectangle Stitch Die Set – 5007D – to make her layers. The diagonally striped paper layer is 5 1/4″ X 4″, the white embossed piece is 4 1/2″ X 3 1/4″ and the yellow piece with the sentiment is 3 3/8″ X 2 1/8″. Hope that helps!
