Birthday, Birthday, who’s got a Birthday – today I’ve got one of my favorite SUPER cute birthday cards you can make one at a time or in a batch. Anyone else ever make a super fun card and have no one to send it to? No? Just me? haha.
I get into these crafting modes where everything turns out even better than it did in my head, and now I have this beautiful card, and nobody with a birthday to share it with. So today, I’m sharing it with YOU. And if it happens to be your birthday today, EVEN BETTER!
I’m really loving this adorable birthday card I made using Rubbernecker stamps. I used the Birthday tree Party stamp with the Nested circle stitch die cut as well as the Nested x Stitch circle die cut to create some magic. The background was created using the Happy birthday sentiment from the Hippos clear stamp set .
The image was colored with Copics using the colors: Branch – E35,31,30, Owl – W5,3,1, Bear – E55,53,51,50, Leaves – YG23,21
I added glossy accents to the nose and eyes of the animals as well as to the balloon. Anything that adds that extra “pop” just makes the card that much better, dontcha think? Because of that, I also added shimmer pen to the leaves.
Hand crafted birthday cards are always a joy to make and even more fun to receive. Just know that each time you send a personalized card, you are letting someone know that not only are you thinking of them, but you took your time to craft something specifically for them.
