Use this floral Thanks card idea to make a stack and always have one at the ready!
There’s something about a floral Thanks card that is so sweet and fresh and such a cheerful way to express your gratitude. Today we are sharing a simple to make card from Julie that you can change up in so many ways you will never run out of thank you cards in your stash! Let’s check out how she created this lovely card.
First Julie cut a piece of white card stock with a die from our Nested Rectangle Stitch die set and used another, larger die to cut a piece of black card stock.
She then stamped the stems and leaves from our Blooming Heart set using shades from our Color Fuse Ink Set #10 onto her white die cut panel. She added that beaitful fat blossom at the top using inks from Color Fuse Set #4 and stamped an additional blossom onto a scrap of white card stock. She then cut the extra flower out with our coordinating die.
Julie then determined where she wanted her single word greeting to be placed on the black card stock to the left of where the stamped panel would go and when she had it just right, she stamped it in Versamark and heat embossed with white powder to give it maximum pop against the black and to “mirror” the white panel.
Now she adhered her white panel to the black with adhesive tape and then added her extra bloom spanning the black and white panels for some single layer dimension. As a final touch, she edged the white panel where it lay over the black with some pearls.
Here are the items from our store that Julie used today to make this card:
