Learn how you can make FOUR holiday cards from ONE card sketch using some easy adaptations!
The other day on her blog, our Exclusive Associate Designer Kittie Caracciolo shared a fabulous post on how to make four holiday cards from one card sketch – all different, all adorable and all easy! She shares lots of extra details in her original post so be sure to pop on over and check out all the goodness.
First she shared a quick sketch to show the basic elements of her design:
Then Kittie used our Ho Ho Ho Paper Pad on all four cards. Kittie says “You can use the patterns to help you choose your focal element. I LOVE using these new patterned card stock panels as card backgrounds because the overall design means I have less to do for the background and can really pack my focal elements and accents with detail.”
We do want to say that this Paper Pad was *extremely* popular at the shows and while we’ve ordered in a good supply for the holidays, if you are planning your cards around these designs, please don’t wait. There’s nothing worse than having to rethink a whole card making strategy because there’s one thing you can’t get in time!
Here are the four cards she created with links to the individual products for each card at the top. In her post, she also links all the every day items she uses, too.
As we said, Kittie shares even more little details about these cards in her post and then is sharing each card individually in their own posts so you can get ALL the details. Kittie is very generous in sharing how she makes her projects so if you aren’t following her you should be!
Remember, the ideas of these four holiday cards from one card sketch are totally adaptable! You can use the design for any theme, using any design element and for any occasion. You are only limited by your own visions!
