Like this one. It’s ADORABLE, right? And that cute Trick or Treat Cat is one stamp that you cut out with one die cut so you can stamp and cut a whole stack and then grab your favorite coloring tools – here Prisma colored pencils – and plop down for a nice long color therapy session.
And we just love that green and black background – it adds just enough of that ghoulish element to make this card a sweet mix of treat and trick. Jamie did that by using the Not So Many Random Dots background stamp, the Crosshatch Design Die and sponging the edges all in black.
She cut the green panel using the dotted line border from the Borders #2 die-cut set and mounted it onto a scrap piece of patterned paper, adding detail at the cut line with some sparkly orange glitter washi tape!
Then she added her cute little kitty to the front with some dimensional adhesive and layered everything together with an orange layer on a black card base.
If you have a long list of people for whom you have Halloween cards to make, save this idea and think about how much fun it will be to have that nice delicious coloring session combined with all those delighted people opening up your card!
