A Peek-Through Slimline Halloween Die Cut Card!

Today, as part of our 13 Days of Halloween, we have a gorgeous peek-through Halloween die cut card made as a slimline using one of our new slimline dies. As STUNNING as this card is, it’s easier than it looks thanks to some clever details.

First, our uber talented designer Julie, used the Slimline OPC (One Piece Cut) Circle Dash die and placed it over the stamped Slimline Halloween background. She marked where the greeting “Happy” and then “Halloween” would line up with the openings. Then she cut a panel of black card stock to put behind the slimline die cut panel.

She colored her background using a selection of Copics in Halloween colors and used a circle die to cut out the colored areas of that delightfully detailed background.

Then, to take this over the top, Julie cut some bats and webs out of black cardstock and adhered them to the front of the card using a fine point black marker to add details.

She popped it on her slimline card base and WOW! What an amazingly fun, colorful and exquisite Halloween card!
