Today we are sharing one of our handmade cute cards for friends. Whether you just want to say hi to someone you haven’t seen for a while or know someone who could use a little boost, we believe you can NEVER have enough cards for friends and the ready and this one is goofy and cute and sweet all in one. Plus it’s fun to make!
Let’s take a peek:
Isn’t that cute? It would even make a super cute birthday card – just switch out the greeting!
Here’s how our designer created this for you.
Stamp Gator on watercolor paper with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and color with Inktense Pencils #100, #1530, #1540 and use the matching die-cut to cut out.
Then, stamp Wood Grain Fence on white cardstock using Color Fuse Bubblegum and then add a little bit of Color Fuse Rose with a blending brush. These two colors are from Color Fuse Ink Family #5 and they are gorgeous! Die cut that panel using the largest die from the Nested Rectangle Small Stitched Die Cut Set and adhere to a black card base. Don’t you just LOVE the way pink pops on black?

Then the star of the show – Gator – gets popped up with some dimensional adhesive and blinged out with a few self-adhesive rhinestones and this handmade cute card for a friend is ready to go! Let’s look again!
Here are all the Rubbernecker goodies that were used on this project. Remember that every purchase you make counts toward your achieving Rubbernecker Gold Status!
