Today’s beautiful card is from Kittie and we can’t get over how realistic and exquisitely detailed it is. We adore the golden brick with all the white architectural elements and the pretty yellow blossoms all give that gorgeous fall afternoon feel.
In her original post, Kittie shares all her steps, tips and tricks for the making of this fantastic card so you will want to pop over and check them all out. We also wanted to point out a couple of cool things Kittie did on this card.
That gorgeous brick looks as if it’s textured but Kittie created that just with our Repeating Bricks Stencil and Citrus and Pumpkin Color Fuse Inks from Set #2. She then added tiny touches of Pecan Color Fuse Ink from Set #3 to create just enough of a shadow effect such that the bricks look “rough”, just like real ones!
Also, Kittie used a piece of patterned paper from our Welcome Spring 6 X 6 Paper Pad as the “wallpaper” behind her see through window – how perfect is that? (Makes us wonder if we should be in the wallpaper business it looks so good! Just kidding…….)
And last, Kittie attached her shutters using foam tape adhesive to make them even with the window element. This little detail is one of the things that makes this card look so realistic, as well as her doing the same for her flower box. These small touches all add up to a fabulous look!
