Today’s stamp set will give you lots of ways to make Happy Fall cards!
Today we are sharing one of Annie’s Happy Fall cards that she made with a stamp set we created to honor the beauty of fall. Our Splatter Leaves set gives you pretty leaves to color and four different sayings that make creating Fall themed cards a snap. Let’s see how Annie put her spin on this theme.
First, she stamped the leaves onto white card stock with black alcohol-friendly ink and colored them in with her alcohol markers. She also stamped and colored a few of the flowers from our Daisy Day Dream set to add even more pretty fall foliage. When everything was colored up, she cut out all her images with the coordinating dies.
Next, Annie created her background by trimming a piece of Kraft card stock to panel size and used our Wood Grain Stencil as an embossing plate! Consult your die cutting machine instructions for how to add the embossing pad to your “sandwich”. To enhance the embossed areas, Annie buffed on a little gold gilding wax which also added just enough sheen to add some drama.
For her centerpiece greeting, Annie chose one of those four celebratory sentiments in the Splattered Leaves set and stamped it onto a scrap of white card stock in brown and then cut it out using one of the dies from our Nested Oval Small Stitch set.
Now for the assembling! Annie adhered her beautiful wood grain background panel to a card base with some foam squares. She then added the sentiment to the center with more dimensional adhesive and then arranged the flowers and leaves around it using even more thicknesses of foam adhesive. You can see how adding all these components with dimensional adhesive adds a luxurious depth to her design.
Here are the things you will want to snatch up to make your own batch of these pretty cards:
We love that you can use any of the four sentiments in this set to make an assortment of Happy Fall cards and use them for so many different purposes. Why not try making a stack for yourself and see how many different ways you can use them to send some cheerful Autumn greetings?
