Today we are sharing a card made with a pretty paper floral arrangement using a couple of the new layered floral stamps from the August release!  Follow along to see how our designer Lisa made it!

She started with a pre-cut card from The Paper Cut shop which we love because it means your slimline bases are ready to go! Then she used a layer from The Paper Cut Slimline Layers saving even more time – WOOT! She added a plaid layer and then a panel of white cut with the Scalloped Slimline Die using dimensional adhesive.

Now she created those gorgeous clouds! She cut a panel using the second largest Slimline Nested Stitch Die set and then some cloud shapes from scraps using the new Slimline Clouds Die. She used her favorite ink blending brush and Color Fuse Ink in Sonata as a stencil and starting at the bottom, blended ink into the panel to make those layers of beautiful sky.

Move the stencil up in varying stages:

PRO TIP: she says to be sure to move the stencil side to side, too, to get different cloud “mounds” on the different layers

Now add this layer to the top of your card.

On to the paper flower arrangement!

She stamped her flowers on white and cut them out and then arranged them in a cup cut from the Coffee Cup base from paper that looks like water in a container – brilliant! She added the cup using dimensional adhesive to give herself space to arrange the flowers in a realistic looking bouquet.

Last she added the sentiment on two banners layered together with the white layer popped up with dimensional adhesive. A few sequins for some bling and VOILA!!! Beautiful!

We wish this bouquet was sitting on our table right now!  We aren’t not sure which Autumn flowers are purple, but we just love those shades together! Here are the supplies used to make this pretty card:
