Learn how to use a rotating stencil to get multiple colored flowers all over your card!
We were so excited when Kittie made a card sharing how to use a rotating stencil because she has a way of making things so clear and look so easy. Well, using our new Spin Around Stencils IS easy and we love how these innovative stencils allow you to create multiple flowers all over your projects in different colors and, with ours, even different flower shapes mixed together!
These stencils are designed so that every time you turn the stencil, you fill in spaces on your surface with more images which you can do in different colors with each turn. Both different flower styles work together so you can mix them together.
You can see Kittie’s original post here and we suggest you check it out because she always adds every detail so you can try out her amazing projects. She did give us permission to share her little video here where she shows how easy it is to Spin About the stencil to get all those beautiful pops of color. Grab your snack pack of popcorn…..
SO easy, right? And you can mix the two stencils together if you want the two differently shaped flowers to combine on your projects.
We also wanted to point out another PRO TIP Kittie shared that we see makes all the difference on an otherwise “flat” card. Kittie popped up her triple layered element on her card base using some dimensional adhesive. This gives it a lovely shadow and adds a lot of depth and visual interest to a simple layout. Definitely pop over to her blog and check out all the details.
Here are the items from the store you will want to either grab from your stash or put on your order to make this card.
