Use our stamps for easy layered flowers that wow every time!

Our stamps that created beautiful layered flowers are growing every day in popularity and simple but stunning cards like this one from Jamie are, we are sure, part of the reason! From highly detailed sets like this one to watercolor looks like the one today, layered flower stamp sets are an easy way to get lots of shading and dimension using just those stamps and great ink. Let’s see how Jamie created this.

First, you know how we always say don’t throw out scraps or leftovers? The slimline panel for today’s card was one that Jamie had stamped with the words a while ago and when she saw these flowers, it all clicked in that creative mind of hers. She had stamped the large word from our Thanks Set three times in Mango, Rose and Bubblegum Color Fuse Ink on a piece of white card stock she’d cut with our Slimline Solid Deckle die.

Now she started building her layered flowers using our new Just Love set  She stamped the first layer of the flowers with Rose Color Fuse at the top of the panel and again, after reinking, onto a scrap of white card stock. She stamped the next layer with Bubblegum Color Fuse and then the centers with black ink on both the panel and the scrap. She cut out the flowers from her scrap using our coordinating die.

Then at the bottom of the panel, Jamie stamped the stems with Mist and Clover Color Fuse and adhered the die cut flowers over them with some dimensional adhesive. She then adhered her whole panel to a layer of bright pink card stock with more foam tape and added that to her card base with a tape runner.

For some delightful details, Jamie cut some decorative paper with our Small Butterflies die and added one of these to her card with a little rhinestone for a body. Then, to echo the black floral centers, she added some black and white enamel dots and this pretty project was done!

Here’s what you will want to get your hands on to make this awesome thank you card:
