Today we are so happy to share this beautiful many layered slimline card showing off one of our HOT new sets of slimline dies AND one of our gorgeous new clear floral layered stamps. There’s a fun trick to making this card and you won’t believe how easy and fun it is! You might even get addicted!
Our designer started with a single sheet of white card stock cut to fit her card front. She used the palest shade in the Orange Color Fuse ink set and stamped the first layer of flowers from our brand new Blooming Vine Floral Layered Clear Stamp Set.
She continued through the ink colors using the next layers of flower stamps to create these beautifully shaded and colored flowers.
You will notice that some blooms she did in just one shade of ink. This leads to some beautiful variations and the illusion of depth. Then she added flower centers in a soft blue and added leaves and vines in shades of green. PRO TIP: When adding accents like the centers of these flowers, look for a color on the color wheel opposite from the color of your main images.
Now that you have your beautiful panel of custom stamped “patterned paper”, run it through your die cutting machine using as many dies as you want patterned layers. Stamping first and cutting after makes your layers line up perfectly!
Our designer added one layer in vellum to add even more depth. Stack your layers and adhere together, adding the top layer with dimensional adhesive for a visual pop.All the layers were attached to a white slimline card base with the smallest layer attached with foam tape. Here she added some twine around the end of the layers before adhering to her card base and added a simple greeting and pretty teal Nuvo drops for those extra details that make this card so special.
