Today I’m sharing a 3D pop up flower box card with a lattice background, Adirondack chair sitting against a fence and terracotta pots filled with flowers. I used the Rubbernecker Circle Lattice, Beach Chairs, Knob Top Fence, Grass, Large Ivy, Small Ivy, Tall Terracotta Pots, Watering Can, Small Flowers #1, Flower Buds, Small Butterflies and Cart Accessories #1. I used the A2 Pop Up Box Card Kit from The Paper Cut for the card base.
Assemble the 3D Pop Up Box Base
- Cut the designer paper layering pieces.
- 2 2″ x 5 3/8″
- 6 2″ x 2 5/8″
- Attach the paper layers to the inside and outside card base using double stick tape.
- Apply double stick tape to the tab, line it up and secure the box closed.
- Cut the grass sections to fit the tabs included in the kit and attach them with double stick tape.
- Apply double stick tape to the tabs on both sides and insert them inside the box.
- Cut an additional grass section and attach to the inside front of the box using double stick tape.
- Cut additional grass sections and white fence sections, attach them together using double stick tape and then attach them to the box flaps using double stick tape..
The Lattice and Large Ivy
- Cut a piece of white cardstock 2 inches wide and 4 inches long.
- Place the cardstock on the cutting platform, line up the lattice die and cut.
- Apply double stick tape to the top and bottom of the lattice layer and attach it to the box.
- Cut the large ivy sections using green cardstock.
- Place the ivy sections on the molding pad and form the leaves with the leaf tool.
- Attach three ivy sections to the lattice using glossy accents.
The Terracotta Pots, Watering Can and Flowers
- Use yellow cardstock to cut the terracotta pots and gray cardstock to cut the watering can.
- Apply Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge ink to the pots and can using mini applicators.
- Cut the small ivy using green cardstock and the small flowers using pink cardstock.
- Color the flowers to match the designer paper using Worn Lipstick ink and a mini applicator.
- Form the flowers using a small tipped stylus and molding pad.
- Attach the small ivy branches to the back of the pots using glossy accents and attach the flowers to the branches using glossy accents.
- Use glossy accents to attach several flowers to the large ivy against the lattice wall.
- Apply glossy accents to the front of the large pot of flowers and watering can and attach to the grass layers inside the box.
- Fill in the grass layers with branches of small ivy and flowers.
The Box Flaps
- Use white cardstock to cut the Adirondack chair and tuck it in behind the grass layer and attach with small pieces of mounting tape.
- Cut the garden boots using a piece of designer paper and garden hand spade using gray cardstock.
- Color the heels and soles of the boots using a black marker and the handle of the space using a pink marker.
- Attach the boots to the chair using mounting tape and the spade to grass using glossy accents.
- Finish by attaching small pink butterflies to the flaps using glossy accents.
