Today’s quick and easy Fall slimline card has a fun secret and once you make one of these, you will want to make a STACK!

When you learn the fun little secret behind the making of this quick and easy Fall slimline card, we are sure you are going to be browsing ALL your die sets for anything nested. Trust us, this is a great trick to make beautiful, dimensional cards in just a couple of fast steps.

This fabulous Fall themed card comes to us thanks to Julie. Let’s run through the steps so you can see how to make this kind of card and know that once you are done, you will never look at your nested dies the same way!

Start by cutting a piece of white card stock with the largest of our Slimline Nested Stitch dies. Using our Autumn Harvest stamp set, stamp your warm autumnal flowers using shades of Color Fuse Ink from Sets #1, 2 and 3. At this point, also stamp your greeting – you will see why you want to do this now in a moment.

Once you’ve created your scene, choose another one of our Slimline Nested Dies and align it over your panel to capture a mostly central area. Be sure that you don’t accidentally chop off any of your greeting. We recommend using a little low-tack tape to secure this die to ensure your about-to-be elevated layer will be perfectly lined up as you liked it. Cut out this central area of your card.

Choose card stock in a coordinating color and layer your two die cut pieces over it, leaving a narrow border around the edges. Adhere the larger layers to your card base.
Now simply add some dimensional adhesive to your smaller layer and reposition it over the “hole” on your card.

Next………………..wait, there is no next! You’re done! Isn’t that so easy? And such a great effect – lots of visual interest with touches of dimensional shadows and done in mere moments.
