This idea for sweet slimline cards for special people of all ages is over the top adorable!

Slimline cards are as popular as ever and when we saw this idea for sweet slimline cards for special people in your life, we all went “Awwww!” at the same time! Allie made this for us in soft colors and took full advantage of all the delightful details that the stamp set offers. And we just LOVE her combination of slimline dies! Let’s take a closer look so we can try it out ourselves!

Allie started by cutting a piece of white card stock with our Slimline Solid Bubble Scallop die with our SLI (Slimline Insert) Circle Lattice die.

No date yet – we put them out as soon as they arrive and we are waiting on the tracking information!

Then Allie trimmed a piece of white card stock to fit behind the open lattice area and blended a soft blue background using Arctic and Sky Color Fuse Ink from Set #7 with the lightest ink at the top and the most color at the bottom.

She then adhered the die cut piece over her inked panel and then popped the whole assembly onto a white slimline card base using thin foam tape.

Now she stamped images from our Woodland Animals #2 and #3 sets, colored them in with those soft colors and then cut them all out with our coordinating dies. Allie arranged these on her card and when she had them just so, she adhered everything with foam tape except the tree stump, which she added with liquid glue.

Using our Thanks set, Allie stamped her own phrase, trimmed the sections into tidy rectangles and added them to the card with more dimensional adhesive.
