Welcome back to A Pumpkin Background!  Lisa Here today and this is my second card using this adorable and fun Pumpkin Background from Rubbernecker Stamps.  On my first one, I colored the entire image in all of its Gourdness!  It really went fairly quickly with a system of just a few color combos that I worked in throughout the piece.

I used those same Copic combos here but die cut just a part of the image, colored only that piece and popped it up over the black and white image.  A cool way to still have the entire background but just spotlight a portion of the image AND save some time for a quicker card!  I love both versions!
For some reason oranges have seemed to stump me the most for combos, but I love the three combos i used here and I’ll definitely use them again.  Basically I used four Copic markers for my pumpkins, YR15, YR27, YR31 and YR68.  I varied between using (27, 68, and 15; just 68 and 15, and then 15 and 31 together).  This allowed me to cluster three different oranges together so all of my pumpkins weren’t the same.
For my purples I combined V15, V17, and BV02-although the BV02 is bluer than the others, I love this combo together!  And then I also used V20, 22, and 25.  And the greens combos are YG01, YG03, and YG17 and then YG61, YG63, and YG67.  All of these purple and green combos are among my faves!

This time I stamped and embossed my Happy Halloween onto one of the banners from the Nested Stitched Banner dies!  The second smallest fits it perfectly!  I added just one web that slid nicely under the banner and my spiders, bats, and sequins again.  This time my frame is a little thinner allowing more of the image to show.
