Looking for a super cute cat Christmas card idea? We’ve got you covered!

Today, Julie is sharing this cat Christmas card idea that she created using our new Christmas Cats coordinating stamp and die sets along with our new Winter Animals 6 X 6 Paper pad. If you love cats or know someone who does this card is perfect! Let’s check out the making so we can use her tip on our own projects.

Julie started by stamping her feline friend and her accessories onto white card stock with Copic friendly ink and colored them up with her Copic markers. PRO TIP: You can see that Julie stamped extra images and colored them in, too, to have handy for additional cards on the fly.

Here are the Copic colors Julie used:

When Julie was done coloring, she cut everything out with our new Christmas Cats coordinating die set. Then she cut a card sized panel from one of the designs in our Winter Animals 6 X 6 Paper Pad with the largest die in our Nested Rectangle Stitch Die set and a piece of white card stock with one two sizes smaller from white card stock.

She layered the white die cut over red card stock and trimmed it to a whisker of a border to help it pop. She then used the same red to cut the oval in our Decorative Rectangle #2 die set. And as a last step for her elements, Julie stamped her sentiment onto a scrap of white card stock and trimmed it down to fit inside the die cut oval.

Julie layered everything together on a white card base, adding her colored images with foam tape adhesive for just a touch of dimension. A bit of Stickles on the ornaments and her kittie’s sweater and her card was purrr-fect!
