Today we are sharing an idea for cute hand stamped mushroom cards form Meghan and never did we expect these little “fungis” (fun guys – lol) to be so popular. *WE* thought they were adorable and took a chance and boy, did we choose right! People are loving these sweet little characters and today Meghan has given them starring roles on her slimline card.
Meghan also made awesome use of one of the papers from our Festival of Colors 6×6 Paper Pad. Having these landscape style designs has been a huge time saver for creating fast and fabulous backgrounds. Here it looks absolutely perfect!
Let’s check out the easy steps!
First, cut a piece of orange paper from the Festival of Colors 6 X 6 Paper Pad with the largest of the dies from our Mini Slimline Nested With Stitch Die and adhere it to a mini slimline card base. Now trim the pumpkin pattered paper from the same Paper Pad to fit just inside the stitch line.
Using the sentiments from our new Sweet Mushrooms Set, stamp your choice(s) right onto the patterned paper. PRO TIP: Use your stamp positioner for this step so you can be sure to overstamp if you want a really bold impression. Adhere this to your card assembly.
Now stamp your choice of these fetching fungi and color them in with your favorite tools – Meghan used her Copics. Cut them out and using liquid glue, add them to the scene as you wish.
Boom – done!
This design for these cute hand stamped mushroom cards is so flexible and you can customize the layout and the look for any occasion and using whatever fun event you are celebrating. We are so glad that our instincts were so good!
