Come see another card that shows why Rubbernecker’s new mushroom set is so popular!

Today Julie has taken our new and very popular Sweet Mushrooms set and added her choice of one of the five irresistibly adorable characters to a little scene made with this little “fun guys” home – one of the cottages from our Gnome Cottage set. We love to design stamp sets that can coordinate across styles, themes and releases and these new mushrooms are the perfect way to expand the use of that trio of lovely little lodgings.
Let’s take a look at the easy steps to create this sweet card.

First, Julie stamped her little mushroom and froggy friend along with her cottage onto white card stock with Copic friendly ink. She colored her fungi and frog with these markers:

And then her cottage with these shades:

She then cut a piece of green card stock with the largest die from our Nested Rectangle Stitch die set, a piece of rust with the largest oval from our Nested Oval Stitch Die set and a piece of white with a plain oval die from her stash. Julie adhered the white oval to the center of the rust and set this aside

Using her choice of one of the four sentiments in the Sweet Mushrooms set, she stamped that and a few of the tiny accent mushrooms along the very bottom of her green layer. She popped this onto her card base with her tape runner.

She fussy cut her little cottage and use our coordinating Sweet Mushrooms die set to cut out her little friends. Julie used her tape runner to adhere her cottage to her ovals and trimmed the bottom corners only flush with the ovals and added this to her card front.

All that was left to do is add her little cutie with some foam tape adhesive for a pop of dimension and this charming card was ready to delight someone special!
