Flashback Friday – Fall Cards To “Die” For!

Rubbernecker Blog Flashback-Friday

Come see some of our favorite Fall cards to “die” for – all cards featuring beautiful die cut details.

So maybe it’s an exaggeration to say that these are Fall cards to die for but we loved them so much the first time, we just had to share them again. Our designer are so talented and use our dies so creatively and we do have to say we think our Fall cards are really special. Let’s take a look at three that use die cuts to tell their stories.

First we have this gorgeous mixed media style card from Carol.

Carol’s use of non-traditional colors and metallic heat embossing gave her die cut elements all start billing on this rich, could-be masculine card. All her details are in the post and this card is so edgy and contemporary, this design is still on trend almost a year later.

Of course we couldn’t possibly share anything about die cuts without sharing something from Kittie! This card has been one of her most shared, pinned and coveted and we feel honored to be able to show off this amazing Fall flower and pumpkin scene card here.

Kittie is the queen of layering and massing die cut elements together to create the most luxurious, rich cards and this one is no exception!

Next is a different twist on classic elements with a card that uses soft watercoloring against a bold, graphic design to make a major statement.

Even though those colors are muted and gentle, you really get an Autumnal vibe from the combination of shades and shapes.

As tongue in cheek as it is to say these are all Fall cards to “die” for, we think you will agree that the designs and execution are enduring.
