Did you see the new flower die cut sets?
So you all went BANANAS when we first released the new Kittie Kraft by Rubbernecker flower die cut sets and we sold out of them SO fast! We are super excited to let you know they are back in stock and waiting for you to bring yours home.
Today we are sharing a project from the die designer herself, Kittie Caracciolo, where she used all five of her new flower die cut designs on one card. Just look at how lush and full that bouquet is!
You can see all of Kittie’s fabulous design details and step by step tips and instructions on her original post that you can see here. We wanted to point out a few of our favorites:
Kittie used the same purple shade for her card layer and flower pot for a punch of bold color and to create that visual echo that can really ground a card with lots of pretty details. Kittie also almost always offers some shaping to her flower die cut elements using shaping tools on a molding pad; this small step adds a lot of realism and tons of dimension to her projects. And last, she made sure a little touch of floral decoration fell over the edge of the pot for even more realism and delightful detail.
Here are all the goodies Kittie used to make this gorgeous card:

Isn’t this so beautiful? And we heard a delicious rumor that Kittie is creating a video to take us through her fabulous flower die cut arrangement process so stay tuned and will link you over!
I would like to know what kind of envelopes you use for this tipe of cards
Thanks for asking! Something that works well is to use a larger envelope, so for an A2 card use an A7 (5″ X 7″) envelope. Then you can place a piece of lightweight chipboard over the dimensional side with some foam tape adhesive WITH THE BACKING STILL ON between the flat part of the card and the protective panel. (Don’t remove the backing because we don’t want anything sticking!)
You can also use bubble padded mailing envelopes.
And last, you can use this template to make your own box envelope. You can adjust the depths of the sides for whatever card you want to send.
Let us know how it goes!
