The Frame and Card Base
- Cut the Rectangle Combo die out twice, once in red and again in white.
- Secure the white layer in between the two red layers and attach together using double stick tape.
- Apply strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attach it to the card base.
The Gnome Couple
- Cut the gnome pieces out using multiple colors of cardstock.
- Color Mr. Gnome’s beard using Pumice Stone ink and Mrs. Gnome’s braids using Wild Honey ink.
- Assemble the hat pieces and attach them to the hat bases using glossy accents.
- Secure the gnome pieces together using glossy accents.
The Christmas Tree and Lights
- Cut the tree using green cardstock.
- Use red, green, blue and yellow cardstock to cut the Christmas lights.
- Cut a piece of metallic silver string to use for the tree lights.
- Attach the lights to the string using glossy accents and set aside to dry. Note: I use the reverse tweezers from my Garden Tool Kit to work with small die cut pieces like the lights.
Finish the Scene
- Apply pieces of mounting tape to the back of the gnomes and tree and attach to the card base.
- Attach the start of the tree light string to the gnome on the left using glossy accents.
- Wind the string around the tree a couple times, securing in place with glossy accents and then continue winding it around the gnome on the right and back around to the front lower portion of the tree. I thought the lights should get twisted around just like it happens to us when we put up our tree. LOL!
- Cut a sun and attach it to the card base using mounting tape.
- Finish by attaching two cardinals in the scene with small pieces of mounting tape.
