Farm Pop Up Box

Rubbernecker Blog KC-Rubbernecker-Farm-Pop-Up-Box-right

It was so much fun making this farm pop up box card. When I design a pop up box I like to fill it full of themed images that tells a story, starting on the main top portion of the box and carries over to the three flaps.  For this project I used Rubbernecker’s Barn, Tractor, Farm Animals, Chicken/Squirrels, Ducks, Picket Fence, Corn Stalks, Grass, Bird Set and Cloud Stencil.  I used Color Fuse Inks Sets #2, #4 to color […]

A Super Cute Farm Scene Card!

Rubbernecker Blog KC-Rubbernecker-Double-Shutter-1-open-front

I just had to make this farm scene card using a double shutter base and I HAD to include Nellie the horse,  Bessie and Bossie, the spotted cows AND their cute little chicken and duck friends! The shutter card layout has been around for a long time but it’s not a fold I’ve used until recently.  I love that it provides a larger palette to create an extended scene on.  When closed this card shows the tree and one cow […]

Rubbernecker Blog Come-see-how-I-made-this-snowy-Chritmas-card.

Today I’m sharing one of the more unique handmade Christmas cards I’ve created. It features an evergreen tree background and a bicycle and lamp post as the main focal image with lots of lovely snow.  I really love how the trees get lighter in color to draw the eye back into the distance of the scene.  I used the Rubbernecker Stamps 3 Pine Trees set and the Splatter Background to create the snowy scene background and the Winter Lamp Post, […]

Gnome Duo Christmas Card

Rubbernecker Blog Come-see-how-I-made-this-colorful-gnome-christmas-card.

My project today is a fun and colorful Gnome Duo Christmas card made using the new Rubbernecker Gnome Couple set paired with the Evergreen Trees,  Cardinals, Rectangle Combo #3, Sun Moon and the Christmas lights from the Globe Tree set.  I had fun creating this scene with the Gnome couple decorating the Christmas tree.  I couldn’t resist getting Mrs. Gnome tangled up in the string of lights.  The Frame and Card Base Cut the Rectangle Combo die out twice, once […]
