It’s time for some more handmade apple season cards – come see this cheery project you can make!

Today we are excited to share on of Kittie Caracciolo’s handmade apple season cards. Just LOOK at those details! Aren’t they so fun? Kittie says “Here in Florida we don’t really have the same kind of fall season our northern friends do. There’s something so fresh and fun about apple season and I love making these kinds of cards.”

Kittie is sharing all the details of how she made this gorgeous card over on her blog in this post and we wanted to share a couple of her tips here.

First, we just love Kittie’s backgrounds; she adds just enough color to let us know that we are looking off into the distance but they never distract from her scenes. Kittie uses a light application of our Beachside Color Fuse Ink from Set #9 as her go-to for her skies. Also note how she tapes off the edges of her die cut layers to create a beautifully crisp edge. It’s these little details that while easy to add, look so great!

Also, Kittie is known for her creative coloring techniques. One of her go-tos is to color her die cuts with wet baby wipes. She’s got more information and a great photo on her blog so check it out!

Here are the items from our store that Kittie used on today’s masterpiece:
