We got such a kick out of this totally quick and cute Halloween card that Julie made for us using two different sets we have featuring adorable little ghosts. We just love how the two sets work together and she’s made a little party right here on her card. Let’s get her steps for the making so we can play along!
Julie started by stamping the coffee cup ghost from our Spooktacular Coffee Set into a scrap of white card stock and colored it up with her Copics. Here are the Copics she used on this character and her greeting.
She die cut the little cutie with the die from the coordinating die set and set it aside. She also die cut one of the balloons from our Balloons Dies, stamped it with the “boo” word bubble in the Cute Ghosts set, colored it up and added it to her pile.
Next Julie cut a piece of white card stock with a die from our Nested Rectangle Stitch Die set. She stamped the greeting from that Cute Ghosts set and then stamped two of the drop “dead” adorable ghosties on either side. She colored in the greeting with the same Copics and added a touch of shading to the little phantoms to give them some dimension.
Julie popped her die cut character in the center with some foam tape adhesive and added her balloon with the same adhesive. She then cut a piece of patterned paper from our Spook-tacular 6 X 6 Paper Pad with a larger die from the same nested set, layered the two together and adhered the whole thing to a white card base. Popping up just that one element adds a lot of visual impact and makes the whole thing that much more fun to look at.
Super cute, colorful and a true treat! Here’s what Julie used from our store today:
