We have been sitting on our hands itching to share all these goodies for our Rubbernecker Christmas In July 2022 NEW RELEASE! Christmas is six months from today and that gives you all that time to plan your cards, get your hands on the goodies you need to make them and get started NOW so you can have even more time to enjoy the season when it arrives.

Let’s get to the good part – just LOOK at all these fun things! Be SURE to scroll to the bottom for a quick video sharing some cards made with these dazzling new treats!

First, holiday themed phrases, words and sentiments. Can you ever really have too many of these? We think not!

Here’s our Build a Phrase Holiday set. We made sure we added plenty of non-holiday phrases in here, too, to make this a very customizable set you can use the whole winter.

Next is our Reason for the Season set. Many of you asked for script and print combo stamps and these sentiments were perfect for this style.

Our Newspaper Background stamp is not just for the holidays but when you see all the ways our designers are using this on holiday cards you will understand why we bumped up its release date and added it now.

We get so much great feedback on our shadow and script word dies that we figured this was a great time to add some to our – and YOUR! – collection.  We’ve kept them all in similar style and scale so you can combine them as you like.

If you saw this post, you know we talked about one of this year’s holiday card trends features beautiful illustrations. We wanted to create something that could be adapted to that trend but not be so specific that you couldn’t use it forever. Voila – our Pine Bough Background. And wait until you see some of the cards made with this unassuming powerhouse of a design!

 

Do you live in a warm climate? (Well, it the US we are ALL in a “warm climate” right now, aren’t we?) Do you send cards to friends in the Southern Hemisphere? Well our new Summer Santa set and the coordinating die will crack you up and let you make cards that are a nod to those hot holidays!

You all LOVE our snowmen (we do, too!) so you know we had to give you more options. We added THREE super cute sets and made sure that they were different enough to be gotta-have-worthy and styled so you can get so much more out of these and many of the sets you already have to give you endless options. And to make things even easier, we’ve created coordinating die sets for each one of them.

So the gnomes heard we were expanding our snowmen offerings and they got a little jealous. This guy said “hold my beer” and stepped up – meet our Build A Gnome set with holiday appropriate accessories and, of course, coordinating dies to give you that short cut to creating.

We didn’t want to forget the classics so we added this slightly rustic traditional holiday decoration in our Wreath With Banner set. There is SO much you can do with this basic design and the cards we have to share will get you thinking about how you can make this your own. The coordinating die means that this could be your solution to quick and easy cards that will look anything but!

Poinsettias are also a classic theme and we wanted to give you even more options since your feedback was that you love different styles of these iconic blooms. This is our Poinsettia Set with an available coordinating die.

For something a little different, we added our Girl in Window stamp set and coordinating die to give you something different for those scene cards people love to make. Some stamping, a little die cutting and some dimensional adhesive and you’re on your way to make some cozy cards!

 

Speaking of die cutting, we’ve got you “covered”. We have three new cover dies perfect for the season, two of which are pierced cover dies since you all keep cleaning us out of the ones we have!

First is our Circle Cover die which adds lots of fun movement and energy to projects; try it with any of our snowmen stamps and see what happens!

Just in time for all those warm, wooly vibes for winter cards, our Plaid Pierced Cover Die serves up that snuggly feeling on any project.

And for some fast framing and to make insanely fast yet beautifully detailed cards, our Holly and Greenery Cover Die is like that one gorgeous wrap you only use at the holidays but goes with EVERYTHING. PRO TIP: Cut twice, reverse one layer and adhere together for luxurious foliage.

We are really excited about our new Horizontal Birch Trees die because with one die cut, you can create a whole scene with the addition of any of our critters or characters. You can even build up your background by using any of the pieces from our Tabbed Birch Trees die set.

For another card spanning, scene builder, we offer our Evergreen Forest die. Use our Evergreen Tree die set to build scale and depth.

Now that you have new dies to make beautiful scenes, what about some new magical creatures for them? Based on your feedback, we added four new deer in our Deer Family #2 who perfectly complement our original Deer Family with different sized animals in different positions.

Want to build up your foliage collection? Our new Greenery #3 die combines beautifully with our Greenery #1 and Greenery #2 sets and is excellent on its own to build springs, boughs and wreaths and for filling in on winter floral designs.

Another classic element for the holidays is mistletoe and we don’t see a lot of die sets that give you multiple options. Our Mistletoe Die Set includes three different sprigs with lots of different berry and bow combinations letting you look like a creative genius when you simply cut and arrange them on your cards.

For those of you who love to create dimensional flowers we have a new, smaller sized but ideally scaled poinsettia in our Buildable Poinsettia Die Set. You will see this used with our Poinsettia #1 and Poinsettia #2 die sets to add lots of rich textural variety with these holiday flowers.

We were not entirely prepared for how much people loved our Spring Birds die set and knowing how much cardinals feature in winter cards, we designed a new Winter Cardinals die that lets you add those dimensional elements to help bring these beautiful messengers to life.

This die – OH this die! – is something we are very excited about. We are releasing it now because A) we could NOT wait and B) there’s something about a charming little house all decorated for the holidays that is irresistible. You are going to be able to decorate this Tabbed House Die any way you want, in any season. To get you started with the winter, we have already added our Snow Accessories for House die set.

And last, to help you get even more double duty from your crafting sessions, we have our new Holiday Tags die set. We have seen some absolutely spectacular ideas for tags here on the blog and since you can make an “instant card” just by popping one of these onto a card base, you can get TONS of mileage out of this approach!
