Allison with you today. I hope your week is going great and that your craft projects are prospering, like this spring birthday wreath card!
If you joined us last week, you saw how I used the Winter Wreath Set and created a fun Spring Wreath Card with it. This week I really enjoyed making this super simple but elegant birthday card and can’t wait to make it in even more colors combinations. I’m picturing yellows, bright pinks, and soft blues. I also love that this is a partial wreath. If you have been on Pinterest at all recently, these partial wreaths are all the rage haha. Simple and Beautiful.
Here’s the steps to create this card:
Step 1 – I started by die cutting some bases for the card in white card stock using the large and second largest Nested rectangle scallop die cut The large panel was glued to the card base and the second one was attached with foam tape for some dimension.
Step 2 – I stamped the #4 script border with oxide ink in the colour wilted violet and heat embossed in clear for some raised texture.
Step 3 – I die cut the Wreath set die and coloured with copics. For the ring I used E25 the leaves YG25,03 and the berries V20. I cut additional leaves and berries to fill in the wreath. I attached with liquid glue.
Step 4- I used the sentiment birthday wishes from the Best friend etc clear stamp set. I stamped in black Versamark ink and heat embossed in clear. I used a paper trimmer to trim to size. I finished by attaching with foam tape and adding a few nuvo drops.
