This example of beautiful spring season greeting card ideas can be adapted in so many ways for so many occasions.

This month our theme was flowers so we’ve seen lots of spring season greeting card ideas. This one from Kittie is so versatile – you can swap out any of the detail elements and have endless ideas for spring – and beyond! – cards that you can send for any occasion.

Kittie is sharing all her tips and tricks in her post on her blog and we wanted to point out some of the details that make this card so lovely. The design idea for this card is actually very simple. Kittie used white on white for her base card, using our Leaf Cover Plate die. This die cut uses up a lot of space on the card giving you less real estate to fill with decorative elements, saving time and letting the ones you do add really pop.

On her card, Kittie added a dainty little swatch of flowers and greenery with one of our gorgeous new Spring Birds as her decorative elements and you will want to go over to her post and see just how she added all the extra touches that bring these to life. She’s got such a great way of sharing her methods making it possible for even the “beginnerest beginner” have success!

Here’s an up close pic of those gorgeous details:

Now we do want to mention one thing Kittie shared that we thought was genius. Do you see the bird’s eye? And the teeny centers of the flowers? And how that impossibly tiny die cut truly adds so much, as opposed to, say a marker dot? Kittie says “I actually save the teeny dots that come out of my die cuts for this exact purpose. Call me crazy but you can see what this does for your designs!”

We do often save the negative pieces from our dies and never thought about saving pieces this small. We will now!Rubbernecker Blog KC-Rubbernecker-5422-06D-Spring-Birds-2-left-640x523
We hope you are loving all these spring season greeting card ideas. So many of them are ones that can be used all year long, too, so make sure you save your faves for future inspiration!
