Is this not the sweetest little die cut cherry blossom?

Today we are sharing another beautiful card made by our Exclusive Associate Designer, Kittie Caracciolo. Kittie used some of the brand new floral dies from last month’s release to create a die cut cherry blossom bouquet for her simple card base.

Kittie combined these pretty flowers – we call them “CHEERY Blossoms” because they make everyone happy! – with our new Branches die set. This set is zooming out of the shop because people are loving having these new shapes and designs to use with our huge collection of floral dies.

Kittie is sharing ALL her how-tos over on her blog so you can follow along with her instructions so pop on over and see all her amazing tips and tricks.

For instance, Kittie colored her branches by using kraft colored card stock and applying Cinnamon and Pecan Color Fuse Inks from Set #3 to give them that lovely, variegated look. She also cut each die cut cherry blossom from white card stock scraps and colored them with shades of pink Color Fuse Ink from Set #5 instead of from pink card stock. This coloring with ink provides depth and saturation that mimics nature and just looks so rich. And of course, Kittie shapes all her tiny paper flowers to give them realism and dimension.
