There are so many cover dies for card making and paper crafting out there and we like to think our designs are a little special. Given how many of these items zip out of here every day, we are thinking YOU are thinking the same thing! Today we’d like to share some of our and your favorite projects shared using cover dies and see if these ideas don’t spark something for your next crafting session.

Ok – seriously? Are those layers not just SO gorgeous? The whole look really pulls your eye into the scene and makes that unassuming but also beautiful focal element just float up to you!
Here’s another project that uses offset layering of cover dies to add some definitive detail.
Layering the white die cut over the teal to allow a whisker of a border adds a ton of impact and creates more of that floaty feeling for the big, gorgeous blooms.
Here’s one more example of a handmade card using layered cover dies for instant detail.
For this card, the white serves as the “shadow”, adding a subtle highlight for the eye between the soft colors of the actual cover and the background. SO pretty and so easy!
Now for some cards made with a cover die all on its own. This was one of our most shared holiday cards and you can see why – candy colors and a friendly fella combine to make something just so charming!
